When is the next Florida Electrology License Renewal Date?
Current licenses expire at midnight, Eastern Time, on May 31, 2026.
How many CEU’s do I need to renew my license?
20 Continuing Education credits are needed for renewal, please be aware that you can only obtain 10 'Anytime or Home Study' credits per biennium. The remaining hours must be completed as 'Live' credits. Any 'Anytime or Home Study' credit hours obtained past the 10 will not apply to your license and cannot be used. 
Where can I check to make sure my Continuing Education Credits have been reported and/or are still needed?
To verify if your Continuing Education (CE) credits have been reported in Florida, you should check your account with CE Broker, the system used by the Florida Department of Health and other licensing boards to track CE hours. You can create a free Basic account or a paid Professional account on CE Broker to view your course history, which will list reported courses, completion dates, and hours.

You can file a complaint by accessing the Florida Health Care Complaint Portal or calling (850) 488-0595 or (850) 245-4339. Electrolysis and laser training schools are often licensed through the CIE. You can contact the CIE at 1-888-224-6684 (Toll Free) or 850-245-3200 for information on licensed schools and to inquire about their complaint process.
